Adam grew up in Burnaby and attended the University of British Columbia where he received a B.A. in History and International relations, and was a member of the UBC varsity track team.  He studied law at the University of Saskatchewan, and completed the CLASSIC intensive clinical law program

Adam is a senior officer in the Canadian Army Reserve.  He is a graduate of the Canadian Army Command and Staff College, and has been awarded the South-West Asia Service Medal with Afghanistan Bar, the Canadian Forces Decoration, the Commander-in-Chief Unit Commendation (Task Force Orion), along with numerous other commendations and qualifications.

An avid volunteer, Adam has served on numerous nonprofit boards, and is passionate about access to justice, leadership development, and veteran’s advocacy.

Adam enjoys sci-fi movies, foosball, eating very good food, working it off in the gym, and skiing rather badly.
